We have just finished our production of Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World. Like any production there was a lot of work involved, but it was worth it. The cast and pianist were wonderful to work with and I had a fantastic production team.
Every show is a journey but this one taught me that it's very difficult to both direct and perform in a show. I would never have been able to do that without the help of two other experienced directors - Jonah Hagans and Nicolas Gregoriades - who were willing to work with me on the songs I personally performed.
